Post backlash, Project K’s first poster look refreshed, fans gauges stark resemblance with Adipurush
The first ever postal look of project K featuring Prabhas was launched on Wednesday. After the first look was revealed many people took to Twitter to share the reactions and opinions, while some we left not so pleased. Many founded to be hilariously related to the poster of Adipurush. Amidst all the talks and backlash, the poster look was refreshed by the makers and reshared with few changes.
Prabhas plays Raghav (Ram), Kriti Sanon plays Janaki (Sita), and Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh (Raavan) in Om Raut’s Adipurush. The T-Series-produced movie debuted in theatres on June 16. It has received harsh criticism for using such simple terminology.
Arun Govil, who played Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s popular television series Ramayan, has offered his opinion on Om Raut’s Adipurush. In reference to the updated version of his own TV programme, which is based on the epic Ramayana, he has dubbed the movie “Hollywood ki cartoon.”
Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, has received criticism on social media for its shoddy visual effects and jargon-filled speech, with writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla facing criticism for Lord Hanuman’s lines in the “Lanka Dahan” sequence among other things.
Usually, such decisions are made as a film’s run is approaching to a close, but in this instance, the distributors have taken the audacious step of enabling AMC Stubs A-List, which provides subscribers with access to up to three films, for a big Telugu star film immediately following its premieres.
This is certainly what will make Om Raut’s upcoming mythological epic Adipurush have a successful opening weekend at the box office. Trade analysts predict that the picture, which reportedly cost Rs 500 crore, will be well received by viewers primarily because it is a reworking of the Hindu epic Ramayan.
Saif Ali Khan appears as the antagonist Ravana in Om Raut’s most anticipated film Adipurush. Interestingly, during the promotions the actor was missing especially during the trailer and song launches.
