The instant messaging program WhatsApp has a ton of features that are helpful and facilitate more productive and efficient communication. Features include phone and video calling, texting across the continent, uploading images and videos to the status, and much more.
WhatsApp Channels, a recently introduced function by Meta, has been available for a week in India and is growing in use.
Users of the iOS beta version of WhatsApp, the messaging service owned by Meta, will soon be able to start group calls with up to 15 other users. Previously, group calls could accommodate up to 32 participants, but only 7 persons could start a call. The group call can still hold up to 32 people with this upgrade, but beta users can now choose up to 15 people to join it.
The developers are also working to enable the users to edit media captions. But the edit message feature is now under development and awaited to be launched soon.
