Tanushree Dutta who came in news after revealing that she got offended sexually by Nana Patekar is in news again. It all happened during the shoot of their film Horn Ok Please! in 2008. After her revelation #MeToo campaign in India gained the momentum and many other actresses and women exposed big B’Town celebrities including Sajid Khan, Rajat Sharma, Anu Malik, Alok Nath etc.
Now Tanushree targeted actor Ajay Devgn. She accused him of giving work to Alok Nath in his upcoming film De De Pyaar De. Alok Nath is an accused of rape, the accusations were put on him by Vinta Nanda. Not only her, Alok Nath has been accused of a sexual offender by actresses Sandhya Mridul, Himani Shivpuri, Deepika Amin and Navneet Nishan.
Alok Nath’s presence in the upcoming film De De Pyaar De subject to outrage. Alok Nath stands accused of rape by TV producer Vinta Nanda and is currently out on bail in an on-going court case. While interacting to media, when the De De Pyaar De was asked about casting Alok Nath, Ajay had intervened, saying,
“This is not the right place to talk about it. And jinki aap baat kar rahe hai woh film uske pehle complete hui.”
This defence hasn’t gone down well with actress Tanushree Dutta and she said,
“Tinsel town is full of liars, showoffs and spineless hypocrites.”
Saying that she specificaly targeting Ajay Devgn in this post, she reminded of the post that Ajay Devgn tweeted while #MeToo movement was on its wing in India. she said, “During the #metoo movement in India the actor had tweeted and sworn never to work with those accused and now in a surprising and convenient turn of events is Working with rape and harrassment accused Alok Nath and supporting him make a comeback to Bollywood. Doesnt this prove yet again that your big Bollywood heroes are truly zeroes!”
