Tanushree Dutta who got popular from film Aashiq Banaya Aapne has now become 34 years old. She was last seen on the silver screen in 2010. She had a very short film career span. The reason is she has been at the center of a controversy regarding her fallout with the unit of ‘Horn Ok Please’ and her fracas with the media in 2008.
In her interview to the media, the actress said that the film’s leading actor Nana Patekar showed more a than the casual interest in the item song even though he had just three words in the track. Tanushree says Nana’s presence during the rehearsals made her uncomfortable. She also filed a complaint against him in the police station.
It is said that after this incident her career came to an end. During the film shoot of Horn Ok Please in 2008, Tanushree accused Nana Patekar of touching her inappropriately. She also denied doing an intimate scene with him. After that, she was fired from the film.
She also accused people of the media, said they had ransacked her car with crew members and mistreated her. After all this, the filmmakers replaced her with Rakhi Sawant. Tanushree filed a complaint against Rakhi and makers saying the makers took her in the item number without seeking a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from her.
Responding to Tanushree’s accusation, Nana Patekar says she is like “a bachchi” to him. He says that is the film’s leading man he had the right to be on the sets during the rehearsals.
The film’s director Rakesh Sarang, producer Abdul Siddique and choreographer Ganesh Acharya are siding with Nana and accusing Tanushree of being “unprofessional”, “egoistic” and having “an attitude problem”.
