Tanushree Dutta who was the flag bearer of #MeToo movement in India has now spoken up for Kangna Ranaut. Kangana has been calling out the film fraternity for allegedly ignoring her latest film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Tanushree called Kangana a bonafide A++ list actress. She praised her that she alone made it to the top without the help of any A- list male star and without a high profile surname.
She called her honest and applauded her for speaking her heart out against Bollywood Biggies. Recently Kangana had accused Bollywood of ganging up against her because she raised her voice against nepotism in the film industry. She also said that while she attended screenings of other actors’ films, and supported their work on social media, none of them repaid the favour.
Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi got mired in several controversies before and after its release. However, much before its release also, the film grabbed many headlines.
