Taylor Swift paused her Edinburgh concert to help a fan. She also congratulated a couple on their proposal during the show.
On Friday, June 7, Taylor Swift started the UK leg of her Eras Tour in Edinburgh, Scotland. During her latest concert, Taylor Swift quickly helped a fan in need. The singer noticed a fan who needed help. Swift paused after the bridge of “Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve” from her album Midnights. She called for security to help the fan. “We need help right in front of me, please, right in front of me,” she said while playing her guitar. A fan caught this moment on camera and uploaded it to X.
Swift kept playing until help arrived. She used her guitar to point out where the fan was. “I’m just gonna keep playing till somebody helps them, then I’m gonna keep singing the song,” she said. Swift said she could keep performing like this all night until the fan got help. She resumed singing after making sure the fan was okay. This wasn’t the first time Swift stopped her shows to help fans. In November 2023, during a concert in Brazil, she stopped to get water for some fans who were thirsty.
An extraordinary moment
During the June 7 show, Swift saw an audience member proposing. She congratulated them and thanked them for sharing such a special moment at her concert. “You have no idea; I never get to see that, right? Because it’s, like, dark usually at night,” she said. To these people, Taylor is grateful as they shared such a great moment of their life with her during the concert.
Before going to Liverpool and Cardiff, Swift had two more shows at Murrayfield Stadium. She will perform at London’s Wembley Arena from June 21st to 23rd. Also, she has five more shows in London in August. Coming to Taylor Swift. Her quick reaction to a needy fan in need shows her dedication to her fans. This action sets her apart from other artists. However, more memorable moments are expected from her as the Eras Tour continues.
