A day after Taylor Swift grieved the loss of a fan who passed away from intense heat, another young fan of hers has sadly passed away.
Shortly after attending Swift’s performance in Rio de Janeiro’s Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium, 25-year-old Gabriel Milhomem Santos was fatally stabbed. Gabriel was slain on Sunday morning (November 19), according to the reports. On Copacabana Beach, his body was discovered while he was wearing Swiftie’s bracelet.

It was around three in the morning when Gabriel and his two cousins were ambushed by a group of three robbers at the well-known beach. When three men tried to rob him while he was sleeping, they attacked him.
He made the suit himself specifically for the Swift event, and he will be buried wearing it. Gabriel, a student studying aeronautical engineering, was “fulfilling a dream,” according to his family, who told the local media outlet g1. Gabriel traveled from Belo Horizonte to watch Swift’s performance.

With Santos’s passing, Taylor’s three-day performance in Rio de Janeiro has seen two tragedies. Ana Clara Benevides, a fan, had a heart arrest on Friday during the singer’s performance. Benevides had a stroke while she was in the intense heat, standing in a crowded area.
Expressing grief for a fan’s passing, Taylor wrote in a statement, “I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show,” Taylor wrote on social media. “I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this.”
