A famous leader of South or a parliamentarian of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which pulled out of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s coalition last week, prefers to let his costumes do the talking in parliament. Naramalli Shiva Prasad, this morning dressed as a woman and protested with TDP colleagues demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh.
Actually, TDP is not happy since after the budget has declared by the Modi government. According to him, the government had done an injustice to their state. Meanwhile, TDP has also stopped supporting Modi government now.
In his protest, Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury has also joined him, who flaunted a yellow silk sari, a wig and a flower tucked into it, besides a mustache-less face.
It is not for the first time when the 66-year-old minister reached parliament in the different get-up. Dr. Shiva Prasad has in the past dressed up like a fisherman, iconic leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Hindu god Krishna. See the below pictures:
