BCCI shared the official schedule of team India which certainly looks packed with games against various international teams but the focus on the T20 World Cup forces the managers to give more weightage to T20Is.
India will be resuming its international tour by playing against England for the final Test, along with 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
The second team or rather call it “Future India” will be playing against South Africa and Ireland for T20Is only.
West Indies will host India for a “white-ball format only” series which will be followed by Sri Lanka’s challenge for 2 T20Is.
If the schedule goes as planned team India will be ready enough to show their dominance in the Asia Cup which shall boost the squad and also the selection process for the T20 World Cup in October.
Significantly India will also be playing against the World Cup hosts – Team Australia for 3 T20Is before the World Cup.
