President Vladimir Putin has spoken out after hearing of the horror twin explosions at St Petersburg metro station. According to the Express, Putin expressed his condolences and said: “The causes of this event have not been determined yet, so it’s too early to talk about possible causes.”
He further added: “The investigation will show. Certainly, we will consider all variants, common, criminal, first of all, of a terrorist nature. The city authorities, and, if required, the federal authorities, will take all necessary measures to support the families of those killed and those injured.”
Ten people have been killed in twin blasts on the metro in the Russian city of St. Petersburg. At least 50 people have been hurt.
