The full roster of HYBE’s new female band, “KATSEYE,” was revealed on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
Six members from four nations have been chosen by BigHit, the parent company of K-pop icon BTS, to make their K-pop debut. During the last phase of the global audition, “The Debut: Dream Academy,” which took place in Hollywood, California, the members’ names were revealed.
The KATSEYE members are as follows:
Sophia- Philippines

Filipino artist Sophia Elizabeth Laforteza was ranked #1 in the final announcement.
Yoonchae- South Korea

The South Korean vocalist Jeong Yoonchae placed fourth in the KATSEYE final results after trying out for CJ E&M.
Manon- Switzerland

Manon Bannerman, a photography model from Zurich, Switzerland, finished sixth in the final round 2.
Lara- USA

Indian-American musician Lara Rajagopalan hails from Los Angeles. She placed second in the ultimate round of Michelle Obama’s Global Girls Alliance campaign.
Megan- USA

Honolulu, Hawaii-born Megan Meiyok Skiendiel is a Chinese-American runway and fashion model. Fifth place was her position in the final standings.
Daniela- USA

Ballroom dancer, model, and actress Daniela Avanzini is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and Los Angeles. She finished third in the final round and has been on popular series including So You Think You Can Dance?, Super Kids Europe, and America’s Got Talent.
HYBE worked with Geffen Records, a division of the Universal Music Group, to launch a global audition for a first international female band. Out of 12,000 applicants, 20 contenders were chosen to participate in the auditions, and 10 finalists will battle for the first place in the final round.
The six members will soon begin preparations for their debut and HYBE will be announcing their debut schedule in the near future. Additionally, the company will also release a Netflix documentary depicting the member’s growth stories, next year.
