There are many reasons to look forward to the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League . One reason presumably lies in the Martian Manhunter’s promise.
The heroic shape-shifter is known as one of the founding members of the Justice League. So it was quite a disappointment that he was not seen in the cinema film. But the new version of Zack Snyder does bring us a cameo of the character.
General Swanwick
Actor Harry Lennix will soon be seen in the film as General Swanwick. He was J’onn J’onnz all along, disguised to keep an eye on Superman and the Justice League.
While we’ve already seen a whole slew of glimpses of the character, we didn’t see his real form yet. Until now, because it has been leaked via social media.
In the shot we mainly see J’onnz’s face, which means that we haven’t seen anything of his costume yet. It is clear that director Snyder has opted for a balance, in which the character looks somewhat supernatural, but also has some human qualities. You can see it below:
