Dwayne Johnson has recently opened up about his conflict with Vin Diesel. Johnson told Rolling Stone, as reported by E! Online: “That is correct. We were not in any scenes together. Vin and I had a few discussions, including an important face-to-face in my trailer.”
“And what I came to realize is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how we approach movie-making and collaborating. It took me some time, but I’m grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not.”
On a career front, Johnson will star in Universal Pictures’ $160 million budget Red Notice, written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber.
Vin is all set to appear in an updated version of Kojak. He is also reprising his Guardians of the Galaxy voice role of Groot in the 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War, adding that,
“[I] think there’s gonna be a moment that we’re all waiting for, and whether you know it or not, you are waiting to see [Groot] and [the Hulk] get down.”
