No matter how lazy, nobody wants to look fat. Everybody loves a fit body but when it comes to doing some effort to maintain a healthy body we fail terribly. And most importantly we sometimes ignore some day to day habits, unaware of the fact that these are slowly turning us into piles of cellulite. Susan Peirce Thompson (Ph.D., president of the Institute for Sustainable Weight Loss) says, “The biggest mistake people make when they’re trying to lose weight is getting their day off on the wrong foot”. We have with us these essential morning habits that are generally ignored turning you into a powerhouse of cellulite.
We all have heard about getting fat due to lack of sleep but it sounds that we have probably just heard the opposite. In short getting, too much of sleep may turn into your worst nightmare. A study showed that sleeping more than 10 hours may result in increased levels of BMI compared to people who got 7 to 8 hours of sleep. So, if you want a healthy body just stop sleeping more than the required sleeping hours(i.e 7 hours).
#2 GETTING READY IN THE DARK
Some people who have a habit of getting ready in the dark are the ones missing out the weight-loss benefits of the sun. A study shows that people who got enough amount of sun in the morning have lower BMI’s as compared to people who don’t get enough of it. The reason behind this is that our body has a calorie-torching mechanism which starts when the blue rays of the sun enter our body. These rays are synced with the internal clock of our body, so the body knows that it’s the morning time and starts the “calorie burning” work.
#3 NOT MAKING YOUR BED
According to National Sleep Foundation‘s survey, the people who made their beds daily slept were 19 % more likely to get proper sleep than the ones who didn’t. This is not just the part of good behavior but results in a lower BMI level.
#4 SKIPPING THE SCALE
Cornell University Researchers kept a track of 162 overweight men and women for two years and came to the conclusion that those who weighed themselves daily were fit and lost weight gradually than those who did not.
#5 SKIMPING AT BREAKFAST
Researchers from Tel Aviv University after doing a thorough research came to a conclusion that people who ate ample amount of breakfast in the morning got fewer food cravings throughout the day than those who skipped their breakfast.
