Drass is the second coldest place in the world after siberia which is known for recording the lowest temperatures. Drass is situated at an altitude 3230 m and lies almost 60 kms west to Kargil and on the road to Srinagar.



Winter season in Munsiyari begins in November and lasts through mid of march. The temperature here drops below zero as low as -3°C. Heavy Woollens and packing yourself with multiple layers is a must if you’re packing for Munsiyari.



Kufri is located higher to the Queen of Hills i.e, Shimla where temperature touches zero. apart from enjoying the chilly weather and cold Kufri is known for activities like snow-Skiing.



The Place experiences winter cold from October to February and experiences a maximum temperature of 3 to 4 degrees. It is a beautiful place located at an elevation of 2,750 metres in North Sikkim district.



Leh is a high cold desert situated in the Himalayas. During the winter season, the city is covered in snow and the mercury drops well below 0°C. Leh is known for Buddhist sites and awesome Trekking spots.



Tawang is situated at 3,048 m in the north-western part of Arunachal Pradesh. Winters in Tawang last from November to February and the temperatures are expectedly drop to -13 degrees and can go maximum upto 5 degrees. January is the Coldest month of the year.
