1. Nepotism (Inequity)

Nepotism (Inequity) is based on favoritism granted to relatives in various fields such as politics, sports, business, and entertainment etc. Both government and private job sector are affected by this legacy. The government of India should take strict and immediate actions to curb this evil called Nepotism.

2. Racism

Yes, it still exists, even in the 21st century. We have seen cases in which people from Manipur and such places are not even recognized as Indians. People from north see themselves as whites and south as dark skinned. These stereotypes do exist.

3. Intolerance

Choice of food (beef), color (saffron for Hindus, green for Muslims) and Moral policing. Let’s sit down for a moment and ask ourselves who we are? Indians, right! and that’s more than enough.

4. Reservation

It is not just bad for the candidates but also for the government as they are not getting the deserving applicants for their most important positions like for IAS and teaching.

5. Poverty

According to Global Wealth Report 2016 compiled by Credit Suisse Research Institute, India is the second most unequal country in the world with the top one percent of the population owning nearly 60% of the total wealth. There are approx 21.9% of the population who live below the national poverty line.
