Sonam Kapoor is the daughter of superstar actor Anil Kapoor and fashion designer Sunita Kapoor. She is known for her super stylish fashion sense and called as the fashionista of Bollywood. We can’t even imagine that she ever worked as a waitress at a restaurant, right? But is true, even from a well to do family, Sonam Kapoor once worked as a waitress.
Before entering the film industry, she was an assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB) for Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee’s 2005 film ‘Black’. She was later launched by Sanjay himself as an actress in 2007 in ‘Saawariya’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Even though the film was a flop but she was nominated for the Filmfare award for the best female debut.

Sonam took up the job of a waitress at the tender age of 15. It was Sonam’s life’s first job to aid her pocket money. She was studying in Singapore and her parents provided her with a meagre allowance, since then after taking up the job she has never asked her parents for money.

He is a Delhi-based fashion entrepreneur who runs a fashion label called Bhane, which has a showroom in New Delhi’s upscale Meherchand Market. Sonam Kapoor’s net worth is $13 million means Rs 872 crore. She was last seen in the film Sanju and her upcoming films include Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and The Zoya Factor.
