The car can run on roads as well as fly, its teardrop-like shape will help the car to switch between the drive and flight mode in less than 3 minutes. The wings fold away for driving on roads and swing out for flying. AeroMobil Flying Car, displayed at the Top Marques Monaco.

The company said that they are developing several other vehicles similar to this concept and will manufacture 500 units of this car for its commercial available edition, priced at 1.2 million to 1.5 million euros ($1.29 million to $1.61 million).

To fly, the car would need an airfield or another approved place to take off, while owners would require driving and pilot licences, AeroMobil Chief Communications Officer Stefan Vadocz said.
Hope we can see the first flight of this car in 2020. But there are many road blocks for this launch as Governments are already working to regulate drones and driverless cars. But auto and aviation companies are working hard to develop a Eco system where we can drive these kinds of cars with safety.
