This Mountaineer Climbed Mount Everest At Just 16

Mountaineer Arjun Vajpai is 24 years old and becomes successful to climb Kanchenjunga, world’s third highest mountain recently. Moreover, he successfully becomes the youngest mountaineer to climb 6 out of 14 peaks above 8000 metres. However, at his early age, Arjun was, suffered from Asthma. His father Sanjiv Vajpai said, “He has climbed many great mountains but always managed to come back home with his 10 toes and 10 fingers intact”.

Further, he has climbed Mount Everest in 2010 when he was just 16 and became third youngest Indian to climb Mount Everest. He broke the record set by Krushnaa Patil of Maharashtra who climbed the summit at the age of 19. In 2011 he became the youngest mountaineer to climb Mount Manaslu and  Mount Lhotse. Apart from this, he has climbed two mountains successfully in 2016(Mount Makalu and Mount Cho Oyu).

This 24 years young man is really great. Arjun Vajpayee is practising under the supervision of experts. His typical day begins with cycling. Every day of 60 km cycling is done. After that two to three hours sweating in the gym, while giving two hours running. Apart from this, two-three-hour mountaineering practice is also done. During hiking, he sometimes prefers taking yoga support for concentration. We should learn a lesson from his extensive and rigorous efforts. Like Arjun, we should also struggle to gain an upper hand and be successful in life.

Nowadays, he is involved in the commercial for Mountain Dew with Hrithik Roshan.
