Bollywood’s one of the stars Tiger Shroff has made a shocking revelation recently. He opened up about how his mother Ayesha Shroff’s film Boom’s failure affected his family. According to a report in Mid-Day, the actor talked to GQ magazine about the failure of Boom and the havoc it wrecked on him and his family.
In 2003, Ayesha Shroff produced a film Boom which turned out to be a disaster even after the presence of stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Jackie Shroff. Katrina Kaif debuted in Bollywood industry with this film. Tiger was 13 at the time but realised what was happening to his family’s financial condition. Tiger while talking to the magazine said, “I remember how our furniture was sold off, one by one. Things I’d grown up seeing around us started disappearing. Then my bed went. I started to sleep on the floor. It was the worst feeling of my life.”
Tiger debuted in the film industry with film Heropanti in 2014 opposite Kriti Sanon. After that, he went on to give two hits like Baaghi with Shraddha Kapoor and Baaghi 2 with Disha Patani. In Student of the Year, he starred opposite newcomers Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria but the film didn’t perform well at the box office.
His next film will be with his favourite actor and inspiration, Hrithik Roshan. The film is titled War. It will be a power-packed action film. The film wrapped up last week and will release on October 2 this year on the national holiday of Gandhi Jayanti.
This much-talked and much-awaited film is considered as the biggest action entertainer of the year. The audience will see both the actors pitted against each other in a massive showdown. The film War is produced by Yash Raj Films. It is also starring Vaani Kapoor.
