The Tamil Nadu government has made a new plan to overcome Chennai’s water crisis. In Chennai, 52.5 million litres of water is being supplied daily, but the 4 water bodies from which water comes out have dried up. The government has planned to bring 10 million litres of water per day from Jolarpettai. Jolarpettai is 220 km away from Chennai. Apart from this, Kerala also offered to send 20 lakh litres of water daily to Tamil Nadu.
