2020 has been a very different and sad year than in the past. Since the outbreak of the coronovirus, not only were people confined to homes, but the entertainment world was also double killed. Many artists became unemployed due to the closure of work, while the entertainment industry has lost some of the most versatile artists in the meantime. Irrfan, Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Saroj Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput were some of the celebs who died this year. Amidst the rise in Sushant’s events, Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma writer Abhishek Makwana also committed suicide last week.
Police had said that the author mentioned ‘financial troubles’ in his suicide note. Abhishek’s family, on the other hand, has now alleged that the deceased was a victim of blackmail and cyber fraud. Apparently, after Abhishek’s death, the family is receiving calls from fraudsters. Families are being demanded to return the money as the family was made a guarantor for the loan.
Police filed case: According to Mumbai Mirror report, Charkop police have registered a case of accidental death after Abhishek was hanged in his Kandivali apartment on November 27. Abhishek’s brother Janice told the tabloid that he felt trapped in a financial trap after finding something. He further said that after receiving the information about Abhishek’s demise, calls started coming from the borrowers who were using abusive language.
