The much-awaited controversial film The Accidental Prime Minister has released already in the theaters. It is based on the political life of former PM Manmohan Singh. In the film, along with the prominent members of the Gandhi family, former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh have shown in an unseen side. Actress Aahana Kumra, who is playing Priyanka Gandhi in the film, has also got praised for her look. Aahana told in an interview that how she worked hard to look exactly like Priyanka Gandhi.
She told that, when for the first time she came to give the look test for the film. She denied the grooming of eyebrows by the make-up artist. For a whole year, Aahana didn’t thread her eyebrows.
Aahana revealed that in the beginning she never thought of it that she can look like Priyanka Gandhi. But everyone on the film set had told her she is looking like Priyanka Gandhi’s replica. When she first saw herself in the mirror as a Priyanka Gandhi, the first words she uttered was, “Oh My God”.
Aahana first caught attention for her role in the controversial film Lipstick Under My Burkha that released in 2017.
