Tom Holland and Zendaya are among the most adored but also one of the most secretive couples in Hollywood. They seldom provide the public or the media updates about their relationship. But a recent social media post by Zendaya sparked engagement suspicions, with many reading it as a subtly hinting to her upcoming nuptials to Holland.
Zendaya published an Instagram story in which she could be seen sporting a Golden State Warriors cap, which led to these rumours.

The Dune star took down the post when the speculations quickly spread and replaced it with a selfie video in which she jokingly refuted the engagement reports and mockingly chastised her followers for turning every post into an accidental viral hit. She said, “I can’t post anything, you guys. I posted it for my hat. Like, not for the ring on my right finger, you guys. Seriously, you think that’s how I would drop the news? You think? Like, what”.
She later posted the picture which caused speculation, “Let me just put the full body back so y’all can relax lmao.”

The public’s acceptance of the couple’s love connection came in 2021 when pictures of them kissing in a moving vehicle went viral. They didn’t talk about it publicly, though, until a few months later.
Holland said that the loss of privacy was a drawback of being a well-known actor shortly after their relationship came to light in the media. In an interview for a profile in GQ magazine, he stated: “One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world.”

“I don’t think it’s about not being ready. It’s just that we didn’t want to. It’s not a conversation that I can have without her. You know, I respect her too much to say. This isn’t my story. It’s our story. And we’ll talk about what it is when we’re ready to talk about it together,” Holland further added.
“Having her in my life was so instrumental to my sanity. She is so good at being a role model for young guys and girls. When anyone comes up, like, ‘Can I have a picture?,’ it’s never a bad time. Whereas my initial reaction was: ‘Why are you talking to me? Leave me alone’,” he stated.
