In the 2000s, vampires were all the rage thanks to movies and television series like Twilight and The Vampire Diaries. Now, Netflix India is here with its forthcoming series Tooth Pari, which follows the television programme Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal by Karan Kundra.

The vampire Rumi (Tanya Maniktala), who falls in love with a dentist named Roy, is introduced to us in the teaser. (Shantanu Maheshwari). Rumi makes a vow to never bite again out of love for them, however there are a tonne of other characters in this universe.

Although the show is billed as a love story with otherworldly elements, it is unclear whether viewers will have a thrilling trip in the “romantic fantasy thriller.” Adil Hussain, Saswata Chatterjee, and Tillotama Shome are also featured in the programme.

Pratim Dasgupta, director mentioned in a statement, “While at its core, it’s a classic love story between a vampire and a human being, it’s also a life-affirming fable brimming with humanity. The series brings together some of the best actors we have in the country who tap into their wild side to get under the skin of these unique characters. Tooth Pari is visually distinct and matched by an emotionally absorbing story that will hopefully forge a deep connection with the audiences.”

Tooth Pari will be streaming on Netflix on April 20.
