A sleep is a thing which every human like, after a tiring day it just feels so good lay on your bed and sleep peacefully. This pleasure has been recognised by many did you know that sleeping can also be a curse for someone? There is a special category of disorders from which a person can suffer from during his sleep. Such disorders are really very scary and keeps the person haunted from sleeping. Some of those creepy sleep disorders are:
Somniloquy refers to talking in sleep which is even not whispering but constant shouting and yelling. The talk can be of about his dream or some little words or even long speeches, this order do disturbs the sleep of the sufferer but also disturbs the people sleeping nearby too. Now why it is so dangerous? Maybe because the victim doesn’t know what’s he saying while sleeping and can even hurt his throat pretty badly to the limits of taking medical supervision.
4. Kleine-Levin syndrome
Kleine-Levin syndrome is the exact opposite of insomnia where if a person goes to sleep doesn’t wake up for hours. He may remain sleeping even for complete 24 hours of day, thus spoiling his social life and reducing the time to stay fit. Along with an inability to wake up, this disorder is characterized by excessive food intake and abnormal uninhibited sex drive.
3. Night Terrors
A night terror do sound very similar to having nightmares but actually it is not, a night terror is a parasomnia sleep disorder in which a person performs various activities with an inability to regain full consciousness. Those activities include waking up from sleep unconsciously and making creepy noises like moaning and screaming. Moreover, if someone tries to wake up that person completely, he might get nightmares which can last up to 10 to 20 minutes and the person can even try to injure or hurt the person who was trying to wake him.
Narcolepsy is a sleeping disorder in which a person can fell asleep instantly anytime, anywhere, and while doing any activity like falling down to sleep suddenly while running, playing, working and yes, even while swimming, which will definitely not be good for anyone.
1. Sleep Paralysis
Sleep paralysis is the scariest sleep disorder a person can ever have. Sleep paralysis occurs when a person’s mind suddenly wakes up partially from a very deep REM sleep but his body still remains asleep, therefore, giving him a temporary paralysis. Now, what’s wrong with this? During sleep paralysis, a person’s heart just starts pumping monstrously because during the time he’s paralysed, he starts hallucinating things in his room and those things have always being bad. Most of the people have only seen a ghost sitting on their chest and choking them whereas others can see demons crawling on their roofs and walls or maybe hell opening up in their rooms. The panic and trauma which this disorder gives are really very unforgettable.
