Recently, a uber driver took 24 years old boy to the police station. The driver did this after he fed up by the boy’s talk on the phone about CAA.

According to the report, this man is Bappadittya Sarkar and is a poet. This incident happened when he hired an Uber cab from Juhu Silver Beach to Kurla, at 11 PM on Wednesday, 5th February. He called his friend from the cab and started speaking about anti-CAA protests in several cities.

After this, the cab driver took the vehicle to the Santa Cruz police station. He got down to withdraw money from ATM and returned to the cab with two police officers.

The cab driver recorded Sarkar’s phone conversation. In his report to the police, he said: “Yeh desh jalane ki baat kar raha hai, bol raha hai main communist hoon, hum desh ko Shaheen Bagh bana denge, mere paas poori recording hai”.

Police asked Sarkar about his work and ideology. After that, both of them were released by the police.
