Uddhav Thackeray on Friday said that Mumbai police is working efficiently on Sushant’s case, therefore he slams case transfer bid to Bihar.
After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, there was a continuous demand for handing the case to CBI. From his fans to family members everyone was in the favour of giving this case to them. It’s been almost one and a half months while the Mumbai police is still investigating the case, but the netizens seem to be unsatisfied with the investigations that is going on. Therefore CBI probe was demanded. Meanwhile, news has surfaced that Sushant’s father has filed an FIR against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborthy. And after that, there have been lots of twists that is coming up regarding the case. It was also demanded that the case should be transferred to Bihar police.
Keeping this point Devendra Fadnavis has also kept his view regarding the case saying “There is a huge public sentiment about handing over Sushant Singh Rajput case to CBI but looking at the reluctance of State Government, at least ED can register an ECIR since misappropriation and money laundering angle has come out,” However slamming this decision of Devendra Fadnavis Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday said that Mumbai police is doing its work efficiently. The transfer of the investigation will be an insult to the Mumbai police. As they were also the ones who were fighting as Corona warrior in COVID -19 pandemic.
Regarding the case, Thackeray said “The state police and Mumbai police are fighting the Covid-19 pandemic. They are Covid-19 warriors and not to trust them is an insult to them. I would like to tell all Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans that they should trust Mumbai Police and pass on whatever information you have (about the case) to them,”
