What is love? It’s giving rather than expecting! Those who truly love someone can do anything possible. Sometimes we witness some incidents that touch our hearts to the core. This story is one of the kind as it proves that love is the ultimate supreme and that nothing comes in the way of that.
It is an incident that happened on 22-December 2017, a woman said her wedding vows and married the love of her life. Her pictures are now taking the internet by storm. These are moving people to tears and also giving them hope for tomorrow. Actually, Heather Mosher married David Mosher at St Francis Hospital in Connecticut, a place where she was being taken care of. Her last and final words before dying were her wedding vows. In an interview, David told that,
“Nobody thought she would’ve made it that far. She proved them all wrong and that’s what that photo says to me. It reminds me of someone who is crossing the finish line of a marathon or something. She didn’t know I was going to propose that night, but I said to myself, she needs to know she’s not going to go down this road alone.”
This beautiful story began when this couple met in 2015 and became inseparable. But as they say time changes for good and bad, on 23rd December 2016, they found out that Heather suffered from breast cancer and that it was terminal. Knowing that it was breaking Heather’s heart, David decided to propose her on the same day. But just months after he proposed her, they found out that Heather was diagnosed with triple negative, one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer. It was then David decided to marry her on December 30th but seeing Heather’s health was deteriorating so quickly, they exchanged their vows on 22nd December. David said,
“She’s my great love, and I’m going to lose her, but I’m not losing her forever. Heather said, ‘I want to keep fighting,’ so that’s the mantra I’m picking up. She was able to fight until the end, I’m going to fight until my end.”
