Apart from multiplexes, special arrangements are being made to protect against coronavirus in the single screen theaters.
Paperless Tickets and Sanitization
The owners of multiplexes and single theaters are taking special care that all the rules are properly followed. The owners of multiplexes and single theaters have already sent SOP of the security system to the center.
Two shows will not be held at the same time
There will not be two shows at the same time, so that there will not be too much crowd. Social distancing will be followed completely. At the same time, the SOP includes mask, lobby-railings and regular cleaning of doors, seat cleaning, thermal scanning and many important guidelines.
Inox has made a special arrangement for booking tickets. Customers booking online tickets will be able to scan the QR code only on entry. A seat will remain vacant immediately after the booked seat. On booking a new ticket, the next two seats will be booked. At the same time, PVR has made many important rules keeping in view the safety of the audience.
Why it’s important to open the cinemas?
Many multiplex companies fired hundreds of people after the theaters closed, while the single-screen theaters are on the verge of closure. According to a report by Box Office India, 30 percent of the theaters is on the verge of closure. If the cinemas do not open now, then it will cause big loss.
