Upcoming Cars To Be Launched In India This Festive Season Of 2016-17

This upcoming festive season is going to bring up a whole new range of new and promising cars. Many different car makers are giving some exciting face-lift to thier old version of cars with revising their engine capabilities too. Here we bring you some promising new cars ranged between 4-20 lakhs.

Tata Hexa :

First unveiled to the Indian media and public at the 2014 Auto Expo in concept form, the Tata Hexa has been part of the conversation every time upcoming MPVs are mentioned. Set to replace the Aria, the Hexa has been developed in association with the Land Rover division and is expected to be in line with Tata’s current crop of cars.

RENAULT KAPTUR SMALL SUV 

Renault is readying a small SUV that will slot in above the Duster and take the fight to the immensely popular Hyundai Creta. On sale in the Russian market, the Kaptur is more premium offering than the Duster and is slightly bigger in terms of dimensions as well. This new compact SUV share a fair bit with the Duster. The Captur competes with the Ford Ecosport in Europe and has managed to outsell the later comprehensively.

TATA TIAGO SEDAN [KITE 5] :

Much like its predecessor, the Tata Indica, the Kite hatchback will also spawn a compact sedan which will be the replacement for the Indigo eCS. The Tiago sedan has been spotted testing on numerous occasions already.Front-end styling and interiors will be similar to the Kite hatchback whereas the rear might borrow design cues from the Zest sedan. The Tata Tiago sedan should have an aggressive price tag. The Tiago sedan could be a well-rounded car.

New Honda Brio Facelift :

Honda hasn’t yet given up on the Brio. The cutesy li’l car is about to get a facelift for India. The Honda Brio facelift borrows its nose from the Amaze facelift and is already on sale in Indonesia. The new Brio facelift gets enhances looks and a few new features. The new Honda Brio facelift India launch could happen by September 2016. The updated car could have a starting price of INR 4.4 lakhs. Honda is already manufacturing the South Africa-spec Brio facelift in India. The 1.2-litre iVTEC Petrol engine will remain unchanged.

TATA NEXON COMPACT SUV 

Tata is busy readying the Nexon compact SUV for its market launch. The Indian car market has warmly welcomed the new range of Tata products. Their high levels of quality and equipment have been subject to high appreciation. And this compact SUV is likely to follow in the footsteps of the Tiago and the Zest and get eye-catching styling and decent levels of equipment.

CHEVROLET BEAT ACTIV

Showcased at the Auto Expo in February, the Beat Activ will replace the Beat hatchback. Unlike other international markets, India will not get the latest generation of the Spark/Beat. Instead, GM will launch a heavily reworked version of the current car and will be offered in hatchback, as well as compact sedan form.

HONDA CIVIC INDIA LAUNCH

Another one of the highly awaited of upcoming cars in India 2016, the Honda Civic will re-enter the Indian market by next year in the form of the latest generation Civic that was unveiled globally last year. Honda will, hopefully, address the issues of poor fuel economy and lack of a diesel motor that led to the company pulling the plug on the Civic in India a few years back.
