Elections 2017, the viral fever of the country is in its full swing. Here we go for the Uttrakhand assembly election results. The counting of votes for the 70 seats began at 8 a.m. The Exit poll results on Thursday predicted victory for BJP in Uttarakhand. The party needs to win 36 seats to be in the majority.
There were 15 counting centers in Uttrakhand set by the Election Commission (EC). There were strict guidelines issued by EC in concern of security for counting of votes and has prohibited mobile phones inside the counting halls. A three-tier security perimeter has been created at the counting centers.

9.22am BJP leading in 44 constituencies, Congress in five and BSP in three.
9.13am Chief minister Harish Rawat of the Congress is trailing behind the BJP candidates in both the constituencies he is contesting (Hardwar Rural and Kichha).
9.09am BJP leading in 31 constituencies, Congress in nine and others in two.
9.01am BJP leads in 12 constituencies, Congress in four.
8.58am BJP leads in seven constituencies, Congress in three.
8.57am Chief minister Harish Rawat was trailing behind the BJP’s Yatishwar Anand in the Hardwar Rural constituency.
8.50am Early trends show the BJP leading in six seats and the Congress in two.
