On Monday, actor Varun Dhawan will turn 36. He is most known for his appearances in lighthearted comedies like Student of the Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, and Main Tera Hero.
When Varun made the decision to defy the audience and filmmakers’ presumption that he couldn’t act in films that aren’t comedies or provide him the option to play boy-next-door types of parts, he advanced in the profession.
Let’s review some of the actor’s magnificent performances in honour of his birthday.
Badlapur
Varun Dhawan’s versatility as an actor will always come to mind when you see this film. You’ll be astounded by how he adopted the persona of a man who only wants to get retribution for his loss. Varun’s radically opposing part in his debut film had the audience wondering if he could handle demanding roles or not, but he chose to prove them wrong with his performance.
October
Dhawan did an excellent job acting in this Shoojit Sircar film. The reviewers were unable to restrain themselves from praising Varun’s outstanding portrayal as Danish.
Bhediya
In the film, Varun not only changes into the animal “Wolf,” but also into a perfect actor. Although he played a funny character, his performance in this comedy film stood out from the actor’s prior comedic roles in a big manner. The film provided audience members with glimmers of the actor’s impeccable comic timing.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania
Even though the characters are distinct, the film somehow connects to Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania since it travels a similar path. The acting, however, is different as Badri (Varun) keeps balance between the emotional and lighter moments.
Sui Dhaaga
The most lovely portrayal of Varun in Sui Dhaga is when he assumes the persona of a regular guy and doesn’t do anything remarkable. The character he portrayed gave actors the chance to do something different, and Dhawan unquestionably outshone everyone else in the movie.
The star will be seen with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the Hindi adaptation of Citadel, he also has Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor.
