On Monday, Seven Screen Studio announced about the fresh project starring superstar Vijay. The project has been tentatively titled Thalapathy 67 and the run time of the production have been active for over a month.
“Following the blockbuster success of Master and Varisu, we are delighted and proud to collaborate with Thalapathy Vijay sir, for the third time. The project, tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, is directed by the ‘master’ craftsman Lokesh Kanagaraj, produced by S S Lalit Kumar and Co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy. The shoot commenced on 2nd January 2023 and is progressing at a brisk pace,” read the statement averred the production house.
Thalapathy 67 has ramped up expectation from the audience after director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s previous venture with the film Vikram which emerged as one of the massive blockbusters of 2022.
Thalapathy 67 is Lokesh’s second tieup with Vijay after the maiden project Master which served to be a hit at the box office as well.

The music will be composed by the ace musician Anirudh Ravichander which will mark his fourth collaboration with Vijay after Kaththi, Master and Beast. The film’s cinematographer is Manoj Paramahamsa, stunt master Anbariv and editor Philomin Raj. Lokesh Kanagaraj has penned the movie with Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy.
Thalapathy 67 is expected to arrive later this year, in cinemas.
