Leo, directed by Vijay, opened worldwide on Thursday, October 19, and is currently enjoying tremendous success. The Tamil action movie has reportedly made $48.5 million globally, surpassing the total earnings of the much awaited Leonardo DiCaprio picture Killers of the Flower Moon. This information comes from a recent article published by Variety.
Variety has reported that, as of four days ago, the global total for the Lokesh Kangaraj-directed film Leo is $48.5 million. At $44 million, Martin Scorsese’s 3.5-hour thriller Killers of the Flower Moon, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone, and Robert De Niro, is slightly behind.

Leo is a part of the Lokesh Cinematic franchise, which also includes Vikram (2022) and Kaithi (2019). It centres on Vijay’s character, who must go back to his harsh upbringing. Among the other actors in the movie are Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sanjay Dutt, and Trisha Krishnan. Both reviewers and viewers had conflicting opinions on Leo.
According to Sacnilk, Leo had a great four-day run with ₹179.85 crore at the Indian domestic box office. On its debut Saturday, it brought in ₹39.80 crore in its Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi editions. The movie brought in ₹64 crore on its first day and ₹35 crore on its second.

A series of murders committed against the Osage people in the early 1920s are the subject of the historical crime drama Killers of the Flower Moon. Making the movie took more than $200 million. It is based on David Grann’s critically acclaimed book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI.
