Vikas Khanna and Paul Rudd recently had an interesting discussion speaking all about food and films on the chef’s Instagram page. The Hollywood actor is now promoting his new film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which hit the theaters on Friday. The chef-filmmaker Vikas asked the actor to share his diet plan and much more summing the conversation to be an engaging one.
Posting a glimpse of the conversation he candidly had with Rudd, Khanna wrote on Instagram, “When Hollywood’s one of the most influential actors speaks to one of the most influential chefs in the World. The chef started their discussion on the diet plan followed by Paul for the Ant-Man movie. The actor disclosed that he avoided processed food and sugar an tried his best to repeat food items every day. When asked about his choice of Indian films, Paul shared, “Well now, that film is there for Oscar consideration. Everybody loves that film. Is it RRR…it’s RRR.
Vikas added, “These are really beautiful films. So very proud of these two independent filmmakers who are making such difference.”
He then switched to Shah Rukh Khan for the next Marvel film. He averred, “And if I have to recommend one Indian actor because you have massive fan base in India, I would recommend Shah Rukh Khan to be in the next Marvel movie and this is my little humble request.” The chef also gave a dish recommendation of vada pao for the actor to taste it next time.
Vikas started his journey as a director with the movie The Last Color starring Neena Gupta. The film was inspired from his authored novel which hit the theaters in 2020.
