Actor Vikrant Massey and director Vidhu Vinod Chopra are ecstatic about their film 12th Fail’s enormous success.Following its October 27 release, the film went on to become a huge box office success and a slipper hit. For his role in the movie, Vikrant has received a great deal of appreciation, and he just disclosed that the movie has been nominated for an Academy Award in 2024.

Both reviewers and viewers have praised the film profusely since its premiere. At the box office, the film is expected to gross over Rs 50 crore, or 500 million. The film has now made over Rs 45 crore (Rs 450 million).

The film is based on the same-titled book by Anurag Pathak, which is based on a true story. The challenges faced by the millions of students who take the UPSC exam are central to the film. However, it also motivates people to try again and not give up in the face of failure. It goes beyond just that one exam.
Massey portrays Manoj Kumar Sharma in the film. The film, which was written and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, also features Medha Shankar, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Anant V Joshi, and Anshumaan Pushkar.
