According to Virat Kohli, Anushka’s character in this film is very much like her. Virat Kohli said, ‘I like Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Anushka’s character is a favorite for me. Sometimes I sit down, open YouTube, and watch the scene of the film, in which she gets cancer and Ranveer comes back. Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Kapoor appeared together in this film, which was highly praised. Anushka started her film career with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and after the last film she previously appeared, she is away from films for some time.
