Virgil Abloh: a designer who brought streetwear to the ramps shocked everyone, after his demise news surfaced.

It was heartbreaking information for the fashion industry. When the news of the demise of the most Iconic fashion designer Virgil Abloh surfaced. The designer was 41 years old. And was battling cancer for more than two years. But finally, he lost the battle and left for heavenly abode on Sunday, November 28th. According to the reports he was suffering from cardiac angiosarcoma which is considered a rare, aggressive form of cancer.
As soon as the news grabbed attention. Several celebs from the showbiz industry paid tribute to the iconic personality. Taking to their respective social media account celebs like Gigi Hadid, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Priyanka Chopra paid tribute to him. Well the closest one out of them was Gigi Hadid who wrote “I am heartbroken by the loss of my dear friend, and a friend to the world, Virgil Abloh. He was 1 of 1,”
Let us tell you that the designer was in LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy), and for them, Virgil was one of the genius designers. Expressing his sorrow LVMH chief executive Bernard Arnault wrote “The LVMH family joins me in this moment of great sorrow and we are all thinking of his loved ones after the passing of their husband, their father, their brother or their friend.”

About Virgil Abloh
For the unversed he was born on September 30, 1980, he was the creative director for Louis Vuitton menswear. And also the founder of the label, Off-White. However the fact is that he did not study fashion, but civil engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. But in 2012 he started designing garments. The initial design that he did was a screen-print on a Ralph Lauren rugby shirt. Later on, he also designed the covers for famous personalities like Kanye West and Jay-Z’s joint album. Also, his name was on the list of most influential people of the year in the year 2018.
