Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present when senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vishnu Deo Sai takes the oath of office as chief minister of Chhattisgarh on December 13 in Raipur, according to a statement released on Monday by the state’s public relations department.
According to a statement from the state administration, the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Science College Ground at 2:00 PM.

In addition to PM Modi, other attendees will include chief ministers from several states, BJP state in-charge Om Mathur, Union minister Mansukh Mandaviya, BJP president JP Nadda, and Union home minister Amit Shah.
Sai, the winner of the Kunkuri seat in the Surguja division, was chosen on Sunday to lead the BJP legislative party in the Chhattisgarh assembly. This was Sai’s first assembly election as leader of the three states the BJP had just won in a run of five assembly elections.

In a statement released on Monday, the Chhattisgarh government announced that Sai’s council of ministers will also take an oath on the same day. However, there has been no official announcement regarding Sai’s team’s makeup.

Two female lawmakers, Renuka Singh and Lata Usendi, who represent seats in the tribal belt of north and south Chhattisgarh, may be included in the government, according to a BJP leader.
Harsh Dubey, political commentator from Chhattisgarh, said the BJP’s agenda was to“manage the regional and caste balance”.
