Since the completion and release of the film Kashmir Files has occurred, it has been the most in news film. It’s one of the first films of its kind made in India and talks of the genocide of thousands of Kashmiri Pandits and their exodus from the state. The film’s narrative has gotten everyone to sit up and think, especially the new generation of Indians who weren’t the witness to the harsh realities of one section of people who had to flee. People had been reading the holocaust of set about by Hitler and other genocides of the world through various films and documentaries. But not many people had ventured to make an entire feature film on this event in our country.

The states of Haryana, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh have declared its release as tax-free in their states. Vivek Agnihotri has personally tweeted and thanked all the chief ministers. It will allow maximum people to learn the true story of how Kashmiri Pandits exodus from their homeland. The prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, met up with the team behind the film and congratulated their effort and appreciated the film. The film’s star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Chinmay Mandlekar and Pallavi Joshi.
