In 2023, Google crowned Bollywood sensation Kiara Advani as the most searched film actress worldwide. Her popularity rose after her wedding to Sidharth Malhotra and the release of films like “Satyaprem Ki Katha.” So not only did Kiara dominate Google searches in India but also made a mark globally. Talking about the most searched male actors Jeremy Renner takes the top spot. Kiara was one of the only two actresses in the top 10, alongside Jenna Ortega, known for her web series “Wednesday.”
The surprising thing was that despite the release of Barbie this year with major global stars like Margot Robbie and Gal Gadot, Kiara Advani emerged successful. “Barbie” couldn’t surpass Kiara’s search popularity. Even Gal Gadot, who featured in “Heart of Stone,” was left behind. Also, Indian actors like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt didn’t make it to the top 10 searched actors.
