On January 1, the most popular YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson who is recognized as MrBeast shared the good news about getting married! He took to the social to share a series of pictures, which involved him proposing to his girlfriend, Thea Booysen. He wrote in the caption section of the post, “Ya boy did a thing.”
It was not only a surprise for Thea but for fans from all over the globe as long as everyone eagerly commented to congratulate the newlyweds. Everyone wanted to have a piece of this success and Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty was not left behind, she simply tweeted, ‘Wohoo Congratulations’ with two heart emojis.
A Christmas Engagement
The engagement was said to have happened during the Christmas festivity at the couple’s home. People report that both of their families were present for the big moment. Thea said that her family members had come from South Africa to celebrate Christmas with them. While giving gifts to each other the last gift was revealed to be from MrBeast.
Describing the moment Thea said: “We were opening presents, and for the very last one, he asked me to close my eyes because it was a surprise.” MrBeast added his playful twist, saying, “I intentionally dropped a large box to make some noise before presenting the real gift.” Inside that “real gift” was a beautiful ring. He then got down on one knee and proposed.
