Premier League club Chelsea is considering bringing in the Franch footballer Jules Kounde to make their defence stronger after Rudiger exits to Madrid.
Chelsea has possibly delayed their interest to bring in Kounde as their defender after the Sevilla player is on the verge of surgery for the off-season.
Kounde is probably the key priority for Chelsea since the blues have been tracking him down for the past 12 months and are possibly looking to get the 23-year-old into their defensive unit.
Antonio Rudiger and Andreas’s exit has created an urgency to bring in Kounde for the Premier League club Chelsea.
Kounde has been dealing with groin pain for the majority of the season.
However, this did not prevent him from being called up to the France national team for the recent UEFA Nations League matches.
After starting him in France’s 1-0 home loss to Croatia, manager Didier Deschamps announced that the defender would be having surgery.
“I know very well his athletic condition today. Tomorrow, he will have an [surgical] intervention because he has a problem that dates from several months ago,” he said.
