Fans of Zack Snyder are now campaigning to reinstate his vision of the DC Extended Universe. But almost four years after the director stepped down from the franchise to focus on his family, and the release of his Justice League is finally here, it seems to be over.
Snyder said during an interview that the chance that his SnyderVerse will be restored is quite small. He has been allowed to make three films in the franchise so far, where he once planned as many as five.
Low Chance
While Snyder would like to be somewhere, he doesn’t think he’ll ever do anything for DC Comics again.
“There are some hints to Justice League 2 and 3, but it’s not more than a teaser for what’s to come. At the same time, this was a big chunk of what we wanted to do in the first Justice League movie,” said Snyder. “We got a lot done in the first four hours, and that was really all we recorded. But yes, there were plans for more.”
Only we probably won’t get to see it. “The chances are really small that I will ever make another film for the DCEU. If it does come to that, it will contain many of the same elements, with a different storyline.”
