As her 40th birthday approaches, she plans to put to end to the time she spends wondering whether ‘Mr Right’ will ever materialize. The wedding ceremony will happen in April and Lynne plans to have the traditional wedding, with a customary dress and marriage party. She says she’s going to Rome for her honeymoon.

“I’ve been single for a while now and have no interest in being in a relationship. I did get engaged once, when I was younger, but it was silly and nothing came of it. I think with these things I’d never say never – but I’m not going to hang around for much longer.” Lynne told the Mirror UK.

Flo, Lynne’s mother, helped her with the big decision and her brother in-law will take her to the venue of the wedding ceremony. Although, she can’t legally marry herself but she’s doing everything she can to have her big day recognised. There’s going to be a reception, party, disco and buffet.

The episode of Friends in which Monica, Phoebe and Rachel all try the wedding dresses is what inspired Lynne to marry herself.
