A woman who went into a hospital with stomach pain gave birth to a baby girl 20 minutes later. Interestingly, Adele Duncan, 23, had no idea that she was pregnant. Last year on 23rd December, Adele had finished her double shift, did some Christmas shopping and enjoyed a McDonald’s tea.
She was woken up by an excruciating stomach pain before going to bed around 10:30 pm. Lousie, her mother called 999 and she was taken to hospital after she started bleeding badly. Just 17 minutes before Christmas and with only six pushes, Adele gave birth to baby girl.

According to The Sun, she wrote on her official Facebook account, “I can let you know about what Santa decided to drop off to me two days before Xmas. Everyone might be a bit shocked just like I still am. [I] still can’t get my head around it all really, but I would like you all to meet the baby, Duncan. She was a surprise, born 23/12/2016 weighing 7lb 1.5oz at 11.43pm at night after a quick 20-minute labour.”
She further added: “She shocked us all and arrived after me having had a hard day at work and then going shopping. Me and baby are perfectly fine and everything is okay.”
Adele Experienced No Pregnancy Symptoms At All
According to the doctors, she has conceived her surprise girl in March or April 2016. She admitted her relationship with a man.
During intercourse, she had not used contraception but was never expecting this.
Taking to motherhood immediately, Adele said: “I stayed a size 16 throughout my pregnancy. Because my periods are very on-and-off I didn’t notice anything different. I honestly didn’t know. But, I was taken to the labour ward and just 20 minutes later I was told, ‘you have a baby girl.”
