World’s First ‘Squeezable Phone’ is set to launch On May 6 By HTC

HTC  is a Taiwanese consumer electronics company famous for making Android Operating based phones. Now HTC is going to launch World’s First ‘squeezable phone‘ which be called HTC U. HTC U will be unveiled on May 16 as per the tweeted by the HTC official Twitter handler with the tagline ‘Squeeze for the Brilliant U’.

HTC has also posted a five second teaser video for the HTC U. Notably, both the tagline and the teaser also confirm the smartphone’s most talked about new feature, the Edge Sensor.

HTC also posted a short teaser video of the HTC U phone on the social networking site to create the buzz. The phone will have a new feature called ‘THE EDGE SENSOR’.

The Edge sensor, refer to sensors on the sides of the HTC U that lets you quickly open apps and perform functions by simply swiping, squeezing or tapping the metal edges. The sensors seem to be placed on the bottom half of the handset, right where one would normally grip the smartphone. This means you could practically squeeze the phone  to perform different actions on the phone.

The phone will have 5.5-inch QHD display screen with the power of Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with two RAM options 4GB or 6GB. The phone will have the latest Android operating system 7.1 Nougat.

The phone will have 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 camera at the back and 16-megapixel camera at the front for HD video calling and clicking stunning selfies.Additionally, the smartphone will be offered with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The latest leaks rates the battery at 3000mAh with Quick Charge 3.0.
