On 19th March the Yogi Adityanath’s government has completed its one year as the ruling party in the state. Yogi Adityanath is one of the most popular CMs in the country. He stays in news for his controversial religious statements. We often see that most of the political leaders are the flag bearers of the nepotism. But Yogi is a bit different. He never involved any of his family members into the politics. His family is leading a simple life like a common man even today.
Sister runs a tea stall
Yogi originally belongs to Uttarakhand. He has 6 siblings. He comes at number 5. One of Yogi’s sister runs a small shop and tea stall in Uttarakhand for survival. She lived with her husband Puran Singh in Kothar village, Uttarakhand. Her name is Shashi.
Shashi says last time he met his brother Yogi on February 11, 2017. Shashi has three children, one son and two daughters. She says that she never thought of it that one day her younger brother will become the CM of Uttar Pradesh.
“Yogi always had contrast thoughts. He said to our father, what have you done for the country? You only raised your children but one day I will help the people of our nation. We used to think that he is a child and had no idea about what he is talking about.”
Yogi became a saint when he was 22. Shashi says since then she hasn’t tie Rakhi on his brother’s wrist.
