A 32 years old young man at the Delhi airport was caught by CISF personnel for allegedly impersonating an octogenarian passenger by using a fake passport. The name of the man is Jayesh Patel, he belongs to Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
In order to look old, he coloured his hair and beard white and arrived on a wheelchair to board a flight to New York from the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. He used a fake passport with the name of Amrik Singh, aged 81 years.
His looks made Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials feel suspicious about him. Jayesh Patel was caught when he expressed his inability to stand up from the wheelchair and was evading eye contact with them. Sensing something wrong, CISF officials did a thorough inspection of him, following which it was revealed that he is not old but faking it for a reason which is not known yet.
In the inspection, CISF officials found that the appearance and skin texture of the passenger didn’t match as per mentioned in the passport. he looked much younger. Also, Jayesh was wearing zero-power glasses to hide his age. He was later handed over to immigration officials on charges of impersonation and further probe.
